Dhaman cosponsors annual investment forum

The Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) partook in the Annual Investment Forum at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Dubai under the aegis of UAE’s Deputy President, Prime Minister and the Ruler of Dubai Mohamed bin Rashed Al Maktoum.

The corporation cosponsored the forum, which attracted experts and decision-makers from various sectors, mainly banks, finance, retail, farming, energy, artificial intelligence and smart cities.

The three-day event discussed different issues and subjects that covered investment attraction, innovative investment promotion techniques, foreign direct investment, smart cities, start-ups’ risk management, potentials provided by the augmented reality and virtual reality, as well as several other investment issues.

The corporation was awarded by the UAE Ministry of Economy for co-sponsorship and effective participation. A shield was delivered by the UAE ministry to the corporation’s Director-General Abdullah Ahmed Al-Sabeeh.

The corporation communicated with joint Arab-Austrian and Arab-Brazilian chambers to provide members with different services of trade insurance and investment. It also concluded two MoUs with them for joint cooperation on the sidelines of the annual forum in Dubai.
